Hi. Are you a little chaotic, always on the go, and collect hobbies like they are going out of style?
Good. You’re in the right place.
This is a lifestyle blog for cozy-but-curious people who love grandma hobbies, frugal living, Pittsburgh things to do, and seeing the world. Those who want travel the world but bedtimes at 9, who get excited about a good thrift find, who Google “free things to do this weekend” every Thursday like it’s a ritual, and stop to pet every dog. It’s for the girls who love a budget and a spontaneous trip, who crochet on the couch but will absolutely say yes to a late night show.
If you’ve ever thought, “Am I 21 or am I 73 with a credit card?”, welcome.
Why should you care? (Besides the obvious excellent vibes)
Because I’m here to make your life:
- Cozier
- More analog
- More spontaneous fun
- More new places
All on a budget.
What you’ll find around here
Expect:
- Grandma hobbies: crochet fails, pantry recipes, thrift scores, book reviews, pattern reviews, flower recipes,, puzzles, and to be asking “why do I suddenly want a bread box?”
- Frugal living: realistic tips for saving money without sucking the soul out of your life
- Pittsburgh things to do: local favorites, hidden gems, seasonal chaos, and “this is actually worth it” recommendations
- Travel trips: itineraries, budget-friendly adventures, and trips planned by someone who loves comfort and exploration
Basically: half hobby stash, half wanderlust
That’s the whole point.
So… who am I?
One half of my personality wants to stay home, light a candle, and start seventeen projects at once.
The other half wants to book a flight, make an itinerary, and see everything.
Both halves are loud. Both get their way.
I love early morning sunrises, late night chats, fun (memade!) outfits, homemade soup, and a well-timed flight.
I live for:
- Finding joy in the everyday
- Romanticizing small moments
- Making life feel full without spending a fortune
- Being deeply unserious about things that don’t matter
I don’t believe you have to choose between being responsible and being fun, between staying in and going out, between saving money and living your life. You can be all of it. I am living proof.
If you stay…
You’ll get ideas, hopefully some laughs, and probably the urge to start a new hobby or book a trip you definitely deserve. So grab a coffee, a cocktail, or whatever beverage fits your current phase of life and stay awhile.
We’ve got hobbies to collect and places to go. 💫
